Court planning
From site dimensions to court design.
Start with the space you have. Share the site dimensions, existing base and preferred layout so the flooring quantity, colour zones and court lines can be planned together.
01
Confirm court type and dimensions
Tell us whether the court is indoor or outdoor, the total site area, and whether the project is a full court, half court or multi-use space.
02
Define Colors, Lines and Customization
Share your preferred court colors, basketball line layout, additional sport markings and logo requirements. Available options can then be confirmed for the selected model.
03
Share Site and Base Conditions
Provide photos or details of the existing base, including surface level, edges, drainage and any site constraints that may affect installation planning.
COURT DIMENSIONS
Plan beyond the playing lines.
Playing court dimensions
Confirm the planned basketball court dimensions first. A 28 × 15 m playing area does not by itself represent the total flooring area required for the project.
Court line layout
Define the basketball boundaries, center line, key areas, arcs and any additional game markings before the final court layout is confirmed.
Total tiled area
Add the project-specific surrounding area and run-off. The playing rectangle is not the order area.
Court Color Ideas
Explore your court colours.
Give the playing area, keys and surrounding space their own identity. Use these colour layouts as a starting point, then develop a scheme for your site.

Choose from blue, green, yellow, red and grey, or send us your preferred court color scheme, line colors and logo requirements. We’ll confirm the available options for your selected flooring model.

What are modular basketball court tiles?
Modular basketball court tiles are individual interlocking tiles assembled to create the court surface. They can be planned around different court sizes, layouts and color schemes.
Which basketball court flooring option should I choose?
Start with your court size, indoor or outdoor use, site conditions and preferred layout. From there, compare the available models by material, tile construction and cushion option before choosing a product.
How should I brief an indoor or outdoor basketball court?
For outdoor projects, send the base, drainage and exposure details. For indoor projects, send the substrate, available build-up height, transitions and facility requirements. Include site photos or a drawing where possible.
Can basketball court tiles be installed over grass or gravel?
Base requirements depend on the selected flooring model and the actual site conditions. Direct installation over grass or loose gravel should not be assumed; send us photos or details of the existing surface so the base requirements can be reviewed first.
How much basketball court flooring do I need?
Flooring quantity depends on the total area you plan to tile, not only the marked playing area. Send us your court dimensions or layout and the selected model, and we can help estimate the required tile quantity.
Can I plan a full court, half-court or multi-sport layout?
Full-court and half-court layouts can be planned around the available site area. For multi-sport projects, the selected flooring model, court markings and total tiled area should be confirmed together.
Which basketball flooring models have cushion variants?
The EC305 Series includes the EC305CU cushion variant, and the STD305 Series includes the STD305CU cushion variant. Cushion and non-cushion options are presented within the same product series.
